Festival of Sport
The festival of sport is all about children going to South Holderness School from all different schools and doing lots of different activities. One of the activities we did was tennis. We only had fifteen minutes for this though so you had to listen really carefully. What you had to do was find a partner and play this game called tadpole. The rest of the sessions we had half an hour. We did javelin, ladders, cone quiz and tennis. It was really fun and enjoyable. It went on all morning but only a few people went to this. There were people from year 5 and 6 that went because some people had gone before and there were some spare places.

THE INFANTS PLAY
On Tuesday 17TH December Neptune and Mercury did a play. Neptune’s play was called Little Donkey the Christmas play and Mercury’s play was called the Elephants Child. Some of the children in the little donkey play were the characters Joseph, the little donkey, the innkeepers the angels, the shepherds, the sheep, the three wise men, the star and the narrator. I interviewed some of the children from Neptune and they said “I liked the way they talked and the way the three wise men were good at acting.” “Getting on the stage was very scary.”
“I liked being a shepherd.”
“I loved the great costumes.” Everyone said that the play was very good.
